Project Manager (Railway Construction Projects, Romania)
We are looking for a Project Manager (Railway Construction Projects, Romania), for an important player within construction sector!
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee railway and/or civil construction projects from planning through execution and delivery.
- Coordinate all project phases, ensuring compliance with technical standards, contractual obligations, and legal requirements.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve project objectives within set deadlines.
- Supervise site managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective execution.
- Maintain direct communication with clients, authorities, and company management.
- Identify risks, propose corrective measures, and ensure smooth project progress.
- Prepare and present regular project reports (progress, costs, risks, milestones).
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Desired skills/ competencies:
- University degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in managing railway or large civil construction projects (minimum 5β7 years).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of Romanian construction standards, regulations, and railway technical requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Romanian language at advanced level (mandatory).
- Availability for travel within Romania as required by projects.
π Location: Full-time position based in Romania, with frequent presence on project sites.
