Software Engineer (Angular + NestJS) (f/m/div)

Are you prepared to take the lead in driving Infineon’s digital transformation? We are looking for a Software Engineer to help shape the future of our Portfolio and Roadmap Management platforms. These platforms are essential in enabling data-driven decision-making for managing product and project portfolios, and your contributions will play a pivotal role in Infineon’s strategic planning and long-term success.

In this role, you'll combine technical expertise with a strong grasp of modern DevOps practices, leveraging CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud-native architectures to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions. In your new role you will:

• Design, build and run a web application & platform based on Angular & NestJS that drives Infineon’s digitalization journey for product portfolio and roadmap management
• Collaborate with other developers, architects, business analysts, UX experts and business stakeholders to design and build systems that are efficient, effective, and scalable
• Guide and mentor junior developers
• Design and implement automation tools and frameworks for CI/CD, test automation, and deployment
• Work in cross-functional Scrum teams and follow DevOps practices & methods
• Explore emerging trends and technologies in software development

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A university degree in computer science, informatics, or a related field (Bachelor/Master)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, including architectural design and system integration
• Proficiency in frontend development using modern frameworks (e.g. Angular, React) as well TS/JS, HTML, and CSS
• Proficiency in implementing RESTful backend services (e.g. with NestJS, Express etc.)
• A strong background in working with relational databases like MSSQL
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD Tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Proficiency with version control like Git, Gitlab, etc
• Experience with cloud technologies, containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Experience with agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, test automation)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment
• Fluent English language skills
