We're looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our client’s team. You will contribute to the development of advanced solutions for monitoring and managing production and quality processes. This is a unique opportunity to work on the redevelopment (migration) of a critical application.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with the project team responsible for the redevelopment of a critical application, ensuring it meets modern technical standards.
  • Take ownership of backend development tasks, primarily in C# (.NET), with the potential to contribute to frontend development using Angular (and WPF).
  • Gain insights into the client’s installations, production processes, and IT solutions to align development with business needs.
  • Transform conceptual designs into functional software by working collaboratively with the team to develop, test, and refine the new application.


Technical Skills:

  • Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
  • Strong expertise in C# (.NET), SQL Server, Entity Framework, and unit testing.
  • Valued assets for experience with:
    • Angular, TypeScript. or languages such as C++
    • Programming in production environments or statistical applications.
Soft Skills:

  • Communication skills to ensure smooth collaboration within a team.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • A true team player who thrives in collaborative settings.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English is essential.


Location: Being able to work onsite is essential, with the option if 2-3 days telework.
