This is a full-time hybrid role for a Back End Developer Intern. Located in Vancouver, BC, the position allows for a mix of in-office and remote work. The intern will assist with back-end web development tasks, contribute to software development projects, and work on enhancing system performance and reliability. Collaborating with the team, the intern will debug and optimize code, implement object-oriented designs, and may occasionally support front-end development efforts.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Basic understanding or experience in Front-End Development and Programming
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments and database management is a plus
