About the Role

We are looking for a versatile Backend Developer to join our engineering team. Our environment relies on multiple languages to solve different problems, primarily Golang and Python. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the server-side logic that powers our applications.

The ideal candidate is a language-agnostic problem solver who enjoys working across different tech stacks and takes pride in writing clean, efficient code.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Design and implement high-quality backend services and APIs using Go and Python.
• System Maintenance: Monitor, debug, and optimize existing services to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Database Management: Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and efficient storage.
• Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers and product managers to translate requirements into functional technical solutions.
• Best Practices: Participate in code reviews and contribute to internal documentation to maintain high engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Multi-Language Proficiency: Professional experience working with both Golang and Python in a production environment.
• Backend Fundamentals: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side logic.
• Data Knowledge: Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Cloud & Tooling: Familiarity with Docker, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Problem Solving: Ability to choose the right language and tool based on the specific needs of a project.
