We Are Seeking: Backend Software Engineer

This role focuses on building and optimizing the core systems that power high-performance trading on Hyperliquid. You'll design backend services, smart contracts, and real-time infrastructure for institutional clients to interact with decentralized exchanges and protocols.

Ideal candidates are highly technical, thrive in low-latency environments, and have a passion for blockchain and trading technologies. You'll have the chance to design robust systems, collaborate with world-class engineers, and contribute to the evolution of decentralized finance. Singapore-based candidates with strong Rust skills and systematic trading experience are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services in Rust
• Build and optimize smart contracts for HyperEVM
• Develop real-time trading infrastructure with sub-ms latency
• Collaborate on protocol architecture and system design

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Rust
• Experience with distributed, high-performance systems
• Familiarity with blockchain and smart contracts
• Exposure to low-latency trading systems
• Bonus: Knowledge of Python, TypeScript, and cryptography
