About The Role
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join Zoic Labs as part of our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for the visual development and design of applications across multiple platforms, including web, desktop, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mobile applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the creation of initial concepts, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that will shape the user experience of our projects. Collaborating closely with engineering, product management, and clients, you will strive to find the perfect balance between aesthetic appeal and functional usability. This is a project-based role with an anticipated start between January and March 2026, with potential for extension based on project needs and performance.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in UI/UX design for digital products and applications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expert-level skills in visual and interaction design
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, Zeplin, and Google Slides
- Knowledge of information architecture, usability principles, and visual hierarchy
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing to enhance user experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design concepts clearly
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools
- Updated portfolio showcasing UI/UX work in digital products
- Cover letter introducing yourself and your work; submissions without a cover letter will not be considered
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain or maintain security clearance if required
- Design and advocate for engaging, user-friendly interfaces across various platforms and devices
- Collaborate with leadership, product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to develop cohesive design solutions
- Transform conceptual wireframes into high-fidelity, intuitive final designs and prototypes
- Create detailed UI/UX design assets that effectively communicate design intent and functionality
- Participate in user research activities and usability testing to identify pain points and iteratively improve the user experience
- Maintain consistency in design language and adhere to project standards and best practices
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design techniques
- Contribute to project planning and provide design insights during development phases
- Competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $40 to $50, depending on experience
