Job Purpose:
Relationship Management of the Large Corporate Accounts.
Main Tasks & Accountabilities:
- Cover corporate clients as assigned by Wholesale Banking.
- Lead origination work in bringing corporate clients and business in for the Bank in coordination with other CBG teams.
- Entertain clients introduced by other parties related to the Bank as well as walk-in corporate customers.
- Participate and contribute to developing Corporate Banking’s business plans and strategy for Corporate Banking.
- Manage communication and maintain the relationships with corporate clients through constant communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Find solution (where appropriate), to gather the necessary information and to prepare and propose financing for corporate clients with the objective of achieving timely financial closure as well as the Bank’s budget taking into account the credit quality and other risk management considerations within the agreed Turn-Around-Time (“TAT”).
- Respond to internal queries from Risk Management, Shari’a, Legal and Operations necessary for the transaction approval to be obtained.
- Coordinate with Credit Administration in execution of the documents and perfection of securities.
- Handle deferral/waiver requests when required.
- Monitor the Bank’s portfolio and pipeline marketing performance related to the team.
- Respond appropriately to queries from other stakeholders such as (but not limited to), Shari’a Audit, Internal Audit, Compliance and CBO.
- Undertake special assignments related to Wholesale Banking as instructed by the Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline, or along with accredited financial analysis certifications
- Any professional certification or post-graduate qualification such as CFA, MBA and/or others related to business would be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of previous banking / financial services experience/Finance or treasury department of a large company.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Corporate Banking / NBFC (inclusive).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Relationship Management (inclusive).
Skills & Knowledge:
- Report writing skill and ability to write in English professionally
- PC skill
- Advance knowledge in credit risk analysis, structuring of credit lines and business financial modelling.
- Advance skill and knowledge in Trade, Financing and Cash Management products.
