We are looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer to support the migration of repositories from Atlassian Bamboo to GitHub Actions within the insurance account.
You will play a key role in automating and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines using modern AWS infrastructure as code tools. This position requires close collaboration with development teams to ensure smooth deployment workflows and secure integration. Responsibilities
- Migrate repositories from Atlassian Bamboo to GitHub Actions ensuring continuous integration and deployment pipelines function correctly
- Verify and resolve issues related to git repository connections impacting CI/CD or cloud deployment workflows
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate software delivery processes
- Implement infrastructure as code solutions with AWS Cloud Development Kit to manage cloud resources efficiently
- Ensure security and performance best practices are followed in pipeline and deployment configurations
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to coordinate deployment activities and migration plans
- Communicate effectively to provide clear updates and documentation during migration and implementation phases
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps engineer with a minimum of 2 years in the role
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with GitHub Actions for building and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code using AWS Cloud Development Kit
- Experience working with Atlassian Bamboo and familiarity with repository migration processes
- Skills in troubleshooting integration and deployment issues across CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in programming languages including Java, JavaScript, and Python
- English language proficiency at an intermediate level or higher (B1+)
