We are looking for an experienced Android Engineer with a strong background in developing production-grade Android applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kotlin, modern Android development practices, and experience building scalable apps using MVVM architecture and Jetpack Compose.

Title: Android lead developer

Location: Hyderabad or Noida

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications with full ownership of production apps.
• Build scalable and maintainable apps using MVVM architecture.
• Develop modern, responsive UIs using Jetpack Compose.
• Implement asynchronous programming using Coroutines, Flow, and/or RxJava.
• Ensure compatibility across Android SDK versions, OS variations, and multiple screen sizes.
• Work with Jetpack libraries such as Navigation, Lifecycle, ViewModel, and Room.
• Implement dependency injection using frameworks like Hilt or Koin.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage networking with robust error handling.
• Write and maintain unit and UI tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5–10+ years of hands-on experience in Android application development with ownership of production apps.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android development practices.
• Proven experience with MVVM architecture and Jetpack Compose.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming (Coroutines, Flow, RxJava).
• Good understanding of Android SDK, OS versions, device fragmentation, and multiple screen sizes.
• Familiarity with Jetpack libraries and dependency injection frameworks (Hilt, Koin).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling networking scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with unit and UI testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Espresso).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
