Lindström is looking for IT Service Manager, Security, who will be responsible for managing risks associated with IT services, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards, and overseeing daily cybersecurity operations at Lindström globally. The role develops and implements policies to protect the organization’s information, monitor systems for security gaps, and report to management. The IT Service Manager, Security, will be part of a 10-person global IT Operations team.
Basic information
- Office location: Kalasatama, Helsinki
- Hybrid-work model: recommended 2-3 days a week at the office, but flexible
- Desired starting date: early 2025
- Permanent, full time role
Key responsibilities
The key activities for this role are:
Collaboration with IT Partners: Manage relationships with IT partners by providing strategic guidance, oversight, and ensuring the quality of their deliverables. Role involves minimal hands-on technical work.
Cybersecurity Reporting: This role will be responsible for reporting on the state of cybersecurity to management and board of directors.
Reviewing and Modernizing Security Policies: The work will be based on the ISO 27000 standard.
Information Classification Project: Early next year, an information classification project will commence, which will involve restricting access based on classification.
The role’s responsibilities also include:
- Managing that security incidents and breaches are responded
- Managing IT services security, risk & compliance with Quality and Compliance team
- Conducting penetration and vulnerability tests with selected partners
- Developing and implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards and cybersecurity training programs for staff
- Conducting regular security assessments and audits and supporting compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, NIS2)
- Managing financials related to the service
- Managing and aligning the related projects with business objectives
Knowledge
The ideal candidate has:
- Technology background with experience in an information security role
- Experience in global IT service implementation programs and IT service management in cross-functional and complex organizations
- Capability to manage broad technology stack
- Knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions
- Strong skills in vendor management
- Familiarity with ISO27000 standard, ITIL, and NIST. Professional security management certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is highly desirable
- Ability to analyze IT industry's emerging trends and technologies and make recommendations for investing in new technologies
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills and experience in training others
- Mission-driven and delivery-oriented approach to work
- Excellent communication and co-operation skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
