Primary Job Responsibilities
- Control project requirements, scope, and change management issues
- Develop project control and reporting procedures and manage changes in operational plan
- Coordinate cross-functional team meetings (support, finance, sales, resource management, etc.)
- Assist the Operations team with procuring sub -contractors when needed
- Coach and mentor junior-level project managers
- Work with management to develop project proposals, charters, estimates, and schedules
- Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to projects
- Analyze data to evaluate key factors to solve issues
- 5+ years of experience in a project management role in IT-based projects
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification; working experience with agile and Scrum methodologies and teams
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally within all levels of the organization
- Australian Government security clearance at the Top Secret Positive Vet (PV) level
