Project Manager for Energy Policy & Permitting within Telecommunications Sector

I am seeking a Project Manager, Energy Policy & Permitting to drive public affairs engagement across the electricity sector, with a focus on Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and municipal and state authorities in Germany on behalf of a Telecommunications company.

This role supports the delivery of energy infrastructure projects by accelerating permitting and grid-access processes, working closely with Operations and Legal teams, and enabling effective engagement with external stakeholders and decision-makers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing relationships with DNOs, municipalities, and relevant authorities on behalf of a telecoms company rolling out a mobile network across Germany
• Identifying and mitigating regulatory and permitting bottlenecks that impact a mobile network rollout i.e.. getting electricity to base stations on top of buildings
• Supporting grid access and building permit processes to support network rollout
• Preparing briefings for senior executives and supporting stakeholder engagement
• Representing the company in relevant industry forums and associations

This role suits a hands-on public affairs professional with strong knowledge of energy policy, permitting, and grid infrastructure in Germany.
