Our client is a well-established, Irish Cost & Project Management Consultancy, widely regarded as one of Ireland’s foremost project management firms. They have built a strong reputation for proactively identifying challenges and delivering effective solutions for their clients.
The consultancy delivers projects with values of up to €800,000,000 and operates across a broad mix of sectors, including Residential, Education, Healthcare, Data Centres, Commercial developments, and Fit-Out works.
The Role:
Our client is currently looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to take responsibility for the supervision, coordination, control, and successful delivery of large-scale and complex projects. The role involves contributing to the definition of project scope and objectives, developing and managing detailed project programmes, monitoring progress, and ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets.
This is a highly client-facing role, requiring strong capabilities in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management. You will be responsible for meeting financial targets, overseeing budgets, and making informed adjustments to project constraints based on ongoing financial and performance analysis.
Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or Construction Management
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Construction, and 3 years in a Project Management type role
- Proven experience working in client-facing positions
- Demonstrated track record of delivering projects from planning stage through to completion and handover
- Previous experience managing and leading project teams
- Strong appreciation for the importance of developing and maintaining both internal and external relationships
- Ability to step into the role and deliver effectively from the outset
