Responsibilities
- Act as a Java-focused technical leader while maintaining working knowledge of adjacent technologies across the platform stack.
- Lead and approve system-level technical solutions by translating business goals into architectural decisions, making pragmatic trade-offs across scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Drive technical alignment and architectural consistency across multiple teams, acting as a trusted advisor for both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Remain hands-on with implementation in critical or complex areas, contributing production-quality code and validating architectural decisions through practice.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (APIs, architectural decisions, key designs) as a direct outcome of hands-on development and system ownership.
- Drive adoption of appropriate tools, frameworks, and DevSecOps practices to support secure, scalable, and efficient software delivery.
- Own analysis and troubleshooting of complex, distributed systems, including end-to-end flows, performance bottlenecks, and system behavior in production.
- Mentor team members to foster their technical and professional growth.
- Lead client-facing technical discussions and workshops, translating complex technical topics into clear, value-driven solutions
- 8+ years of professional experience in Java development, with a proven track record of leading technical teams.
- Deep understanding of Java and the Spring Framework.
- Proficiency with major Java frameworks and libraries.
- Experience with cloud-native development on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in optimizing SQL schemas and understanding the trade-offs of NoSQL solutions.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in performance and security testing practices, ensuring robust and reliable applications.
- Hands-on experience working alongside Java systems with complementary technologies such as C/C++, Oracle PL/SQL, CI/CD, or similar.
- Fluent proficiency in English (spoken and written).
