We are looking for an experienced Global HR Specialist to join our European HR team. This role focuses on HR administration, labour law compliance, and process improvement across multiple countries, with a strong emphasis on Spain and support for other EU locations. You will manage day-to-day HR operations while driving improvements in HR systems and reporting.
About The Role
HR Administration & Compliance
- Manage employment contracts, contract changes, work permits, and labour law compliance for Spain and other EU countries.
- Support implementation of EU directives and HR policies (e.g., pay transparency, overtime).
- Coordinate & create global and local HR policies.
- Oversee occupational health and risk-prevention processes across all European countries, as needed.
- Administration of absences and time sheet requirements (Timmi)
- Administer country-specific benefits (pension plans, health insurance, lunch vouchers, etc.) and update external provider databases.
- Ensure accurate processing of incentive plans and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee data in BambooHR and other HR tools.
- Drive improvements in HR workflows & processes and data integrity.
- Create files for strategic HR processes (9-box, salary reviews, etc.)
- Develop HR dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI.
- Provide insights to support decision-making and compliance.
- Execute all HR administrative tasks for new hires and leavers to ensure a smooth experience.
- Experience: 5+ years in HR administration or as an HR Generalist, with a focus on compensation & benefits and international labour law.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish; other European languages are a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards, power BI).
- Experience with HRIS systems (BambooHR preferred but not required).
- Experience with time tracking systems (Timmi/Lucca preferred but not required)
- Detail-oriented and organised.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Comfortable working in a global european, and fast-paced environment.
