PHP Chief Architect - REMOTE

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team focused on building innovative software solutions for social benefit organizations. You will leverage your extensive experience in PHP development to shape the architectural direction of our products, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and performance. Accountabilities

• Evaluate technical designs to ensure they fit product standards
• Evaluate and suggest new technologies and platforms for the product
• Define technical and coding standards
• Define and participate in code reviews
• Code complex solutions and prototypes
• Define and manage the product release process
• Document application architecture
• Deliver deep dives to solve complex problems
• Develop and execute ITDs
• Mentor and educate developers
• Interact with other teams as the platform technical expert
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma in Computer Science or a relevant field
• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience in major programming languages
• 6+ years' experience in PHP Development (must)
• 5+ years' experience in building full-stack solutions
• Hands-on experience implementing unit/integration tests in both backend and frontend
• Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
• Proven track record of creating and managing strong product-driven standards
• Strong English communications (oral and written)
• Quality mindset and detail-oriented
