Position Overview
As a Software Developer at Permobil, you will play a key role in designing, programming, and verifying software solutions across both server and client environments, including mobile applications. Working within the Software Development team, you will contribute to the full product lifecycle – from concept and architecture to implementation, testing, and continuous improvement. This role combines hands-on development with active participation in refining our processes, ensuring that our software solutions follow best practices, align with established architectures, and deliver high quality and reliable performance for our users.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and verify software solutions for server-side, client-side, and mobile applications,
- Design software components in alignment with solution architecture, reference architecture, and industry best practices,
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, from concept and development to testing and release,
- Conduct verification activities, including testing and peer reviews, to ensure high-quality deliverables,
- Analyze trends and emerging technologies in software development to support continuous innovation,
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes, methods, and ways of working,
- Comply to company policies, rules, processes, and guidelines in all development activities.
- University degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience,
- 3–5 years of experience in software development,
- Experience working within an Agile environment (Kanban, Scrum),
- Strong skills in developing and designing server- and client-side applications, including mobile and web solutions,
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript within the Node.js ecosystem, and frontend development using Angular, HTML, CSS, and SASS,
- Knowledge of mobile app development for iOS (Swift) and Android (Java),
- Experience using version control tools such as Git and GitLab,
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Swedish is an advantage).
- Experience with MongoDB or a similar document-oriented database,
- Understanding of verification and testing of server- or client-side applications,
- Knowledge of the MQTT protocol or the HiveMQ broker,
- Experience working with multiple operating systems, including iOS, Android, Linux, macOS, and Windows,
- Familiarity with Jira,
- Experience with AI.
