We are a fast-growing startup that has experienced tremendous growth over the past months, achieving 5x revenue growth in the last 12 months and a 10x usage increase over the same period. As we continue on this upward trajectory, we are expanding our team to support our rapidly scaling infrastructure and ensure we can meet the demands of our ever-growing user base.
Mission
As a Product/Visual Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with the Product Team to identify and prioritize user needs, validate ideas, and deliver exceptional UX/UI.
You’ll be working cross-functionally, engaging with diverse aspects of the product lifecycle, and playing a key role in shaping tl;dv’s vision as a business. You’ll also partner with marketing, crafting visuals that amplify our brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Design & Feature Development: Own the exploration of new product features from initial discovery to release, contributing to product flow improvements and new feature ideation.
- Iteration Rounds: Regularly share and provide feedback with your team and leadership.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, customer success, user research, marketing, and engineering to iterate and launch features, while contributing to the overall product strategy.
- Design System Maintenance: Ensure consistency and scalability by maintaining and evolving the design system.
- Documentation: Create clear design specifications that account for different personas and use cases, supporting developers during feature handover and implementation.
- Visual Asset Creation & Animation: Occasionally partner with the Marketing team to create animations and design visual assets that support go-to-market strategies.
- Quality Assurance Support: Work with developers to review and refine implementations, ensuring high-quality UX/UI.
- Website Updates: Help to update website pages to maintain an exciting and visually cohesive online presence.
Key Qualifications
- 3+ years in SaaS product design with a strong foundation in UX/UI and a refined sense for visual storytelling and brand expression.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and design systems.
- Business-level English.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
- Values a culture of feedback and actively seeks input on work and approaches.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate the rationale behind design decisions.
- Ability to independently organize, break down, and structure complex problems.
- Capable of quickly producing a broad range of UX/UI concepts while identifying edge cases in detail.
- Humble, collaborative team player focused on achieving shared goals.
Bonus qualifications
- While not required, it’s a plus if you have any of the following:
- Experience in growth-stage startups where you helped overcome scalability challenges within product teams and systems.
- Ability to conceptualize and produce engaging animations independently (using After Effects).
- An understanding of how design teams operate in large, multi-product companies.
- Experience using data to inform design decisions.
- Familiarity with WordPress and the Elementor builder.
