About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in the financial services sector to join our client's team. This role involves analysing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making. The successful candidate will bring experience with Python, Power BI, and familiarity with Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) requirements, enabling them to support regulatory and business-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyse data to provide insights that support strategic objectives.
• Design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to present complex data in a clear and accessible format.
• Implement data models and pipelines in Python to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Ensure compliance with Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) regulatory requirements in data processing and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver solutions that address business challenges.
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy through rigorous quality checks and validation processes.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Data Analyst role within the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and pipeline development.
• Strong skills in Power BI, including creating interactive dashboards and visualisations.
• Familiarity with CBI regulations and experience in delivering compliant data solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SQL for querying and managing data.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
• Familiarity with other data visualisation tools or programming languages is an advantage.
