Shopee’s AI Strategy Product team works across business, product, and technology functions to drive the adoption of AI across platforms and internal operations. This entry-level role is designed for fresh graduates who are interested in building AI-enabled products, learning end-to-end product management, and contributing to AI-driven transformation initiatives at scale.


About the Team:

At Shopee, AI is a core enabler for scaling products, improving productivity, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The AI Strategy Product team sits at the intersection of product management, AI capabilities, and organisational transformation, partnering with Regional and Local teams to deliver impactful AI initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to AI product execution, cross-functional collaboration, and regional-level problem-solving.


Job Description:

  • Support the development and rollout of AI-enabled products and initiatives, from problem definition to launch and iteration
  • Work closely with engineering, data science, and domain teams to translate business needs into product requirements
  • Assist in defining product metrics, success criteria, and basic evaluation frameworks for AI initiatives
  • Contribute to AI workflows, documentation, and best practices to support scalable adoption
  • Help build and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations to track AI progress and outcomes
  • Participate in cross-functional and cross-market coordination, supporting execution and follow-ups
  • Stay updated on AI and GenAI trends, learning how new capabilities can be applied to real-world product use cases


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
  • Strong interest in product management, AI, automation, or data-driven problem-solving
  • Exposure to AI concepts (e.g. machine learning, LLMs) through coursework, projects, internships, or hackathons
  • Comfortable working with data, metrics, and basic dashboards
  • Clear and structured communication skills
  • Strong ownership mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Internship experience in product, technology, strategy, or operations roles
  • Experience building prototypes, internal tools, or participating in hackathons or case competitions
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or analytics tools
