Role Overview:

As an eCommerce Data & Insights Analyst at Luzern, you'll drive data-driven insights to optimize performance for our clients. This role is at the heart of data strategy, turning raw information into strategic recommendations that positively impact key metrics, from profitability and new product launches to multi-marketplace growth. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, translating complex findings into actionable steps that help brands make informed decisions to accelerate online sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Support: Deliver data-driven insights to optimize sales and operational performance for new and existing clients.
  • Best Practices Development: Create cross-functional playbooks to improve eCommerce performance for product launches, marketplace expansions, and profitability.
  • KPI & Metrics Design: Design and implement KPIs and metrics to track client performance, using tools like Excel, Tableau, Sisense, and Power BI.
  • Quarterly Business Reviews: Lead the standardization and execution of QBRs, showcasing client performance, opportunities, and growth recommendations.
  • Process Enhancement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine reporting methodologies and improve internal processes.
  • Data Alignment: Work closely with technology and account management teams to align business performance data with client goals.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about eCommerce trends and analytics tools to evolve and strengthen Luzern’s reporting capabilities.


Required Skills:

  • Data Manipulation: Proficient in extracting, cleaning, and transforming large datasets.
  • Data Synthesis: Ability to turn raw data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills for presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Tools Proficiency: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for reporting and presentations.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous with a strategic mindset, focusing on data-driven problem-solving.


Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R for advanced data analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Sisense.
  • Understanding of data integration and ETL processes.


Experience:

  • 3-5 years in data analysis with a focus on eCommerce.
  • Proven experience synthesizing complex data insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Background in developing eCommerce strategies, ideally with brands or within an eCommerce agency.
  • Familiarity with Amazon and other online marketplaces, along with a strong grasp of eCommerce KPIs and metrics.
