Job Title: Senior Project Analyst
Job Summary
The Senior Project Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects through strong governance, reporting, and analytical capabilities. This role requires a proactive professional who can identify gaps, drive improvements, and implement best practices, processes, and templates to enhance overall project management effectiveness. The position involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders and project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Create and maintain detailed dashboards, metrics, and steering committee reports.
- Prepare high-quality presentations and reports for senior leadership and executive teams.
- Lead stakeholder discussions and presentations, clearly communicating project progress, risks, and issues.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular, accurate status updates to stakeholders.
- Identify project management gaps and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
- Ensure effective project governance, compliance, and adherence to established standards.
- Facilitate project planning sessions and workshops to identify dependencies, risks, and constraints.
- Provide guidance, support, and oversight to project managers and project teams.
- Develop, maintain, and standardize project documentation, templates, and reporting frameworks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Management Office (PMO).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Management Office (PMO) environment.
- At least 2 years of experience in a senior or leadership project management role.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
- High proficiency in tools such as Planview, Power BI, and other analytical/reporting platforms.
- Proven experience in creating dashboards, executive reports, and steering committee presentations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
