Network Engineer

• 6 month contract + potential for extension
• Day rate around $1000 depending on provided experience
• Hybrid Working Environment - WFH/Office

Our client is looking for a Network Engineer with a strong background in Core Cisco Networking and Data Centre networking. You will support various network-related initiatives, working closely with the team to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
• Work collaboratively with security and cloud teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in Core Cisco Networking and Data Centre networking design.
• Experience working in an enterprise-level/large-scale environment
• Strong expertise in firewalls, Cisco routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP or AWS) and related networking technologies is a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with cisco security is a plus
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP) are highly desirable.
