In Argentina (Buenos Aires or Córdoba preferred) within the banking industry, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team dedicated to native Android development. You'll be building high-quality mobile applications using cutting-edge technologies like Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with a strong focus on accessibility, performance, and modern architectural patterns.

This is you

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Native Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural patterns including MVVM, MVP, and Clean Architecture.
  • Proven experience in high-level UX/UI design with particular focus on accessibility and performance optimization.
  • Solid background integrating REST APIs into mobile applications.
  • Proficiency with GIT, GitHub, and GIT Flow workflows.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Understanding of reactive programming principles and patterns.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols for mobile applications.
  • Residency in Argentina, with preference for Buenos Aires or Córdoba locations.

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Openness and curiosity to experiment with artificial intelligence technologies and AI integration in mobile apps.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks for Android.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile development.
  • Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform or cross-platform technologies.

This is your role

  • Design and develop native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Implement robust architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, and Clean Architecture to ensure scalable and maintainable code.
  • Create high-quality UX/UI implementations with strong emphasis on accessibility standards and performance optimization.
  • Integrate REST APIs and manage data flows within mobile applications.
  • Apply reactive programming principles to build responsive and efficient applications.
  • Collaborate using GIT workflows including GitHub and GIT Flow for version control.
  • Participate actively in agile ceremonies and workflows (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Implement and maintain communication protocols for seamless data exchange.
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following Android best practices.
  • Explore and experiment with emerging artificial intelligence technologies and their applications in mobile development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and product managers.
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
