The Role:
As a Business Analyst (GTM/Marketing), you will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting sales and marketing data to generate valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will work closely with our marketing & GTM team as well as other cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization of GTM strategies.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
- Design, build, and maintain centralized dashboards and reports covering key marketing metrics: funnel velocity, conversion rates, and campaign ROI.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to uncover optimization opportunities in audience targeting, channel performance, and A/B test results.
- Collaborate to develop simple attribution models and assist in forecasting (marketing-generated) pipeline based on historical trends and budget scenarios
- Assist in maintaining data accuracy and integrity within CRM and other sales analytics tools.
- Work with internal data teams to enhance data accessibility and usability for sales operations.
- Utilize statistical and analytical techniques to uncover insights that support strategic sales decisions.
- Assist in evaluating and optimizing sales processes through data-driven analysis.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, sales operations, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- A degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, MIS, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights
- Expert proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data extraction, and manipulation from and in data warehouse.
- Advanced skills in building reports, scorecards, and compelling dashboards using Preset or similar BI tool
- Deep understanding of the marketing and sales funnel, including key metrics like CPL, CAC, Attribution, and Velocity. Preferably in SaaS business
- Ability to apply basic statistical methods to campaign testing and forecasting.
- Knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce.com (experience is a plus).
- A detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
