dnata Catering Ireland is part of dnata, a leading global air and travel services provider. We deliver high quality inflight catering and innovative onboard retail programmes to airline partners across Ireland, with a culture anchored in dnata’s values.
As an HR Operations Manager, you will partner closely with the HR Director to lead and continuously enhance HR operations across the business. You will drive a high-performance, people-first culture while overseeing employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, workforce planning, HR policy and compliance, and HRIS and process optimisation to ensure efficient, scalable, and compliant HR service delivery.
In this role, you will
- Lead and develop the HR team, delivering a seamless, efficient, and increasingly paperless end-to-end HR service.
- Partner with the HR Director and senior leaders to provide expert HR advice, build manager capability, and support organisational change.
- Own end-to-end recruitment and onboarding in partnership with the Recruitment & Onboarding Manager, ensuring a standardised dnata process and strong talent pipelines.
- Lead workforce planning and people analytics to inform resourcing, capability, and succession decisions.
- Manage employee relations, including union engagement and third-party hearings, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with Irish employment law, GDPR, dnata standards, and internal policies, maintaining accurate HR records and safe professional practice.
- Lead HR systems, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Partner with leaders to identify training and development needs; support effective induction and ongoing capability building.
- Maintain professional and team capability through mandatory training and continuous professional development.
- Champion sustainability and responsible workplace practices aligned to organisational goals.
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Management/Human Resources Management and 8 - 10 years’ experience in senior HR operations in large, complex organisations.
- Proven delivery of HR strategy, organisational change, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and industrial relations, with experience representing organisations at third-party hearings.
- High level of HRIS proficiency, leveraging technology and people analytics to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- High integrity, with a resilient, agile, and collaborative approach.
