ML Engineer Internship at virtualworkforce.ai
At virtualworkforce.ai, we’re revolutionizing business communication by automating routine tasks with AI-powered virtual employees. Our platform holds AI agent workflows to improve response times, and optimize e-mail responses. We’re looking for a motivated ML Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team and help take our AI agent capabilities to the next level.
In this role, you will:
Develop and refine methods to enhance AI agent output quality by experimenting with various quality checking techniques. You’ll be responsible for optimizing agent accuracy flows and reducing token usage through prompt optimization and advanced prompt engineering.
Work on proof-of-concepts for new features and continuously monitor the performance of our AI agents to ensure they meet high-quality standards in real-world deployments.
Your Challenges:
- Enhance the accuracy and efficiency of our deployed AI-driven virtual employees.
- Develop innovative methods for output quality checking and prompt optimization.
- Streamline accuracy flows to ensure optimal token usage and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with a small, agile team to address real-world challenges in automating communication processes.
What do we require?
- You’re in the last year of a BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit.
- Proven experience or hobby projects in machine learning and deep learning.
- Solid development skills in Python
- Basic knowledge of data modelling, architecture, and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with: Large Language Models (LLMs) and their capabilities, prompt engineering concepts, langgraph or similar LLM frameworks, embedding models and vector databases.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- A keen interest in optimization techniques, prompt engineering, and improving AI-driven workflows.
