What Awaits You
- Manages and coordinates teams consisting of over 100 employees, ensuring smooth operations and effective performance
- Reports operational activities to the COO
- Reports administrative activities to the CEO
- Facilitates communication with team managers, ensures effective staff management for unit heads, and oversees all units within the cluster
- Agrees on performance and development objectives with the subordinate team, guides and supervises them in achieving these goals
- Consults with the human resources department in managing difficult situations within the subordinate team (e.g., performance issues, integration difficulties)
- Identifies the professional development needs of the subordinate team and requests support from specialized departments to find opportunities that address these needs
- Approves leave requests, time-off slips, home office requests, and timesheets for all subordinate employees
- Optimizes resource allocation within the cluster to ensure optimal performance
- Plans resources to anticipate future requirements
- Plans resources to anticipate future requirements and maintains constant interaction with the recruiter to validate and allocate people to projects based on hiring needs
- Conducts risk analysis and develops response strategies to manage them
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role is required
- Proven background in Java software development, with solid expertise in modern enterprise technologies and architectures, including Spring-based frameworks, RESTful services and microservices
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proven experience in resource allocation and performance optimization
- Ability to develop and implement effective strategies for team development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in risk analysis
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations and maintain team motivation
- Experience in working with HR departments and addressing employee-related challenges
- Excellent English verbal and written skills
- German communication skills will be a plus
