Summary: The position involves developing and enhancing software, focusing on full-stack development in a collaborative team environment. The primary goal is to create effective solutions that streamline operations for freelancers using the platform.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
- Implement client-side and server-side architecture
- Build visually appealing and responsive front-end applications
- Develop and maintain well-functioning databases and applications
- Create and maintain APIs
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Debug, troubleshoot, and upgrade software as needed
- Contribute to security and data protection best practices
- Support mobile responsive design across the platform
- Assist in writing technical documentation
- Work with customer success and business teams to enhance software features
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role
- Experience developing web applications
- Familiarity with the Next.js framework, Node.js, and React
- Solid knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind)
- Understanding of back-end languages (e.g., Node)
- Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Docker)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Analytical mindset
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a relevant field
- Experience with third-party API integrations
- Background in startup environments
- Proficiency in UX/UI design principles
- Team Environment: Small, agile team working closely with the CTO and developers
- Company Mission: To simplify administrative tasks for freelancers and gig workers
