Job/Position: Senior Software Engineer (Python)

Compensation: $165,000 – $185,000 plus equity

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Software Engineer (Python), you’ll play a critical role in shaping our technology and growth trajectory for years to come. You’ll be part of a small, high-impact team where your contributions will be felt immediately.

• Design and build core features across the stack: from customer-facing dashboards to scalable backend systems and seamless integrations.
• Work with our core tech stack: Python, AWS (Lambda, ECS, Docker), Postgres, SQL, dbt, Ruby/Rails, plus exposure to React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Turn analytics and data science breakthroughs into real, production-ready solutions - ML algorithms, dashboards, alerts, and more.
• Architect a scalable data and analytics stack that enables rapid experimentation while staying elegant and reliable. Ship code from day one and deploy continuously.
• Partner closely with product, design, and sales to deliver features that matter most to customers.
• Mentor teammates, influence engineering culture, and help set processes as we scale. Be creative and resourceful - we’re solving problems that don’t have a playbook.

What We’re Looking For

• 5 – 10 years of hands-on experience in modern backend software development, data frameworks, and analytics-driven systems. Strong Python expertise with a passion for shipping clean, maintainable, high-quality code.
• Experience building and scaling backend systems, data pipelines, or analytics platforms. Using Python, SQL, DBT, AWS and Data Engineering skills for Data Science and ML model development – as needed.
• A proven track record of delivering impactful products - inside or outside of work (we love side projects and open-source contributions!).
• Comfort balancing customer needs with technical priorities - knowing when to go deep and when to keep it simple. Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to step outside your core skillset to get things done.
