About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Australia. In this role, you will support the project management team in the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will help ensure that all project tasks are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects from start to finish.
  • Support the project manager in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.

  • Help prepare and maintain project documentation, including timelines, schedules, and reports.

Key Requirements:
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project).
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with different departments.
  • A basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle tight deadlines.
  • A degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in project management or coordination, even at an entry level.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies or Scrum.
  • Familiarity with project budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Monday.com).
  • Knowledge of Australian workplace health and safety standards.
