Introduction

As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Lead and support business development activities, including pre-sales activities (i.e. proposals).
  • Coach and support members within our SAP practice on their career progress journey.
  • Lead project delivery teams throughout the client's transformation journey. It includes:
  • Lead client-facing workshops by demonstrating sound functional and industry knowledge
  • Design and implement state-of-the-art solutions incorporating solution best practices
  • Adopt and incorporate IBM's leading market tools and methodologies in the engagements.
  • Design and implement state-of-the-art architecture by demonstrating a broad knowledge of the SAP solutions in the Reporting and Analytics space.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • The candidate must demonstrate a sound functional knowledge in core process areas, including but not limited to Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, EAM, Sales & Distribution, EPPM and Human Resources
  • The candidate must demonstrate solid leadership skills, including managing a wide range of stakeholders and technical teams and coordination across engagement streams.
  • The candidate must demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 10 to 15 years of delivering end-to-end SAP Reporting and Analytics solutions. A minimum of 6 full life-cycle implementations is sought covering requirements analysis and definition, solution and technical design, build, test and deployment using either BW/4HANA or Datasphere in combination with SAC.
  • Hands-on experience and capability is essential given many of our clients are government organisations with sovereign access requirements
  • Funnctional background with solid relationships amongst client's senior stakeholders and broad expertise in developing analytical solutions.

Core Skills

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • Data Warehousing solutions: SAP BDC/Datasphere, BW/4HANA, Netweaver BW and Native HANA.
  • SAP Reporting tools: SAP Analytics Cloud, Embedded Analytics, SAP Analytics for Office
  • Programming skills: SAP ABAP CDS and SQL Development
  • Strong data modelling and SAP BW/4HANA back-end technical design, build and test experience leveraging LSA++ modelling objects
  • Configuration of the SAP BW/4HANA application including data models, ETL and reporting tools SAP Query, Analytics Office, SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Understanding about other cloud Datawarehouse solutions: Snowflake, Databricks, Hyperscalers
  • Non-SAP Reporting and Analytics tools. Power BI, Tableau etc.
  • Experience or exposure to Generative AI/Machine Learning use cases
  • Certifications in this space – must have current BW/4HANA certification, certification in Datasphere/BDC and SAC is viewed favourably.
  • Preferred candidate holds a valid AGSVA security clearance, or must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain clearance.
