Summary Objective Of The Job

You become part of a team of 5 project leaders. This team is part of a recent and dynamic team of about 160 analysts, architects, developers, SDMs, service coordinators, PL’s,….

You structure idea’s into realization plans. You formulate a planning and a business case together with the business.

You structure the project and follow-up all aspects. You take responsibility from the GDPR assessment to the Steerco. You ensure all different IT parties collaborate and deliver.

You take responsibility for every IT aspect and bridge the gap to business. On some projects you will have a business PL, on others you will take up that role as well.

You assist the team and business to create more internal structure (portfolio, resource forecasting,…). You work in the existing waterscrum methodology and help us improve it.

Lines of Communication

You will be in contact with the CIO, the infrastructure teams, the business divisions and supporting teams, the architects, analysts, developers, external suppliers, SDMs, the CISO and the DPO.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE TECHNICAL CONTENT OF THE PROJECT:

  • Defines the technical design and writes the detailed technical specifications
  • Participates in the choice of software packages, in collaboration with the client
  • Participates in the achievement in terms of specific developments or integration
  • Defines tests and participates in testings

CONDUCT OF THE PROJECT ON THE GROUND:

  • Organizes, coordinates and coordinates the entire project management team
  • Arbitrates the potential issues between the team and other stakeholders
  • Supervises the progress of the project
  • Coordinates, synthesizes, and ensures the quality of pronounced validations
  • Circulates and spread information on the project management side
  • Manages the relationship with the supplier(s) (from the signing of the contract to the final validation of the project)

TECHNICAL DEPLOYMENT OF THE PROJECT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ACCOMPANYING ACTIONSUSERS:

  • Deploys the new application or service
  • Organizes maintenance
  • Participates in user training
  • Organizes user support

GUARANTEE OF THE BEST QUALITY QUALITY COST DELAY:

  • Ensures compliance with the specifications
  • Ensures deadlines and costs are met
  • Proposes to the trade or client, during the project, possible modifications of objectives (quality, cost, deadline) linked to implementation constraints or environmental modifications

Qualifications

  • You have at least 8 years of experience as project leader for IT applications.
  • You have worked for at least 2 years in an agile environment.
  • You are open for very regular mobility across all sites in Belgium.
  • Software: SAP ECC6, MS Office, Azure devops, Visio, ServiceNow.
  • Languages: full professional proficiency in English and Dutch and French
