Our tribe consists of 16 cross-functional squads across Denmark, Poland, and India, all focused on delivering reliable, end-to-end solutions for both customers and internal users. Our mission is to create a top-tier core banking platform that’s simple, easy to use, and configurable – empowering millions of digital interactions every day.
Now, we are launching a brand-new squad in Vilnius, and this is your chance to be part of something from the ground up. You will help define the squad’s technical direction, shape its culture, and set new standards for expertise and quality. We cultivate collaboration over hierarchy, working in self-organised Agile squads where every voice matters. - Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you a different level of seniority for the role.
- Lead and contribute to the design of event-driven, API-focused, cloud-hosted solutions, prioritising data consumer self-service as the way forward
- Manage and oversee codebase elements developed by other Digital Core teams, with their supportive collaboration
- Ensure applications are reliable, scalable, and fast through strategic design
- Establish standards and deliver high-quality back-end code
- Mentor, guide, and support other engineers to overcome challenges and grow
- Play a key role in cross-functional IT initiatives, engaging seamlessly with other squads
- Work closely with architects, software engineers, and our dedicated Product Owner
- Join a well-established engineering community
- Extensive experience in Java development (7+ years) and Spring Boot
- Expertise in leading API design and development, particularly using the OpenAPI Specification, and applying best practices for RESTful services
- Solid experience in solution architecture, including designing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems
- Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka
- Proficiency in MS SQL and DB2 databases
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Working knowledge of Docker and containerisation
- Ownership mindset with the ability to take initiative, propose technical solutions, and share ideas openly with the team
- Self-driven and proactive in identifying opportunities and solving problems
- Strong focus on outcomes, delivering high-quality solutions that create impact, along with advanced English skills
