Senior Private Banker – Nordic | Luxembourg or Onshore

Anderson Wise is mandated to recruit a Senior Private Banker for a leading international private bank in Luxembourg.

Bankers relocating from abroad may benefit from Luxembourg’s special tax impatriate regime, allowing 50% of income up to EUR 400,000 to be tax-free, subject to eligibility.

The role:

You will lead UHNWI client relationships across the Nordic market, acting as a trusted advisor and delivering sophisticated banking, investment and lending solutions. This role suits an established banker with strong origination capability and credibility with entrepreneurial clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Originate and manage senior private client relationships in Nordic countries
• Act as lead advisor on complex investment, financing and liquidity needs
• Drive new business development and strategic growth
• Coordinate closely with investment, lending and product specialists
• Maintain strong risk, regulatory and compliance standards
• Represent the platform with professionalism and integrity

Experience and background:

• Significant experience in private banking or institutional banking covering Benelux
• Strong and proven track record in client acquisition
• Experience in structuring and executing complex transactions
• Deep understanding of regulatory, compliance and risk frameworks
• Ability to assess client businesses and sources of wealth
• Comfortable operating in an international matrix environment

Skills:

• Fluent English plus one of the Nordic languages
• Strong commercial mindset and client leadership skills
• Excellent relationship management and influencing ability
