Role Overview

Join a high-performing telecom engineering team as a DevOps Engineer, where you will drive CI/CD automation, infrastructure modernization, and operational excellence across BSS/OSS systems. You will work on large-scale telecom platforms including billing, CRM, provisioning, and network management while enabling faster releases, high availability, and resilient operations. This role offers deep exposure to Kubernetes, cloud environments, automation frameworks, monitoring tools, and multi-vendor telecom ecosystems in an Agile and DevOps-driven environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Build services on JBoss (Java) and .NET/IIS (C#); maintain legacy modules in C++ and Delphi where required.
• Develop and improve web UIs using PHP and JavaScript for RF planning dashboards, KPI views, and optimisation workflows.
• Design and operate Kafka topics/streams to ingest OSS data (inventory snapshots, performance counters, alarms).
• Build ETL/ELT jobs using Informatica to transform and load data into MariaDB (relational) and Cassandra (time‑series/distributed), and author PL/SQL procedures for Oracle‑backed modules where applicable.
• Integrate with Atoll (data exchange, project synchronization, layer updates) to support RF design, coverage/capacity analysis, and parameter optimization.

• Create unit/integration tests (JUnit/TestNG for Java, MSTest/xUnit/NUnit for .NET), API contract tests, and regression suites for critical optimisation flows.

Experience & Skills Requirements:

Must have:

• Telecom OSS domain: Fulfilment & Inventory concepts; RAN topology (cells/sectors/sites), configuration parameters, neighbour relations; optimisation workflows.
• Back‑end engineering:
• JBoss/Java (REST APIs, JDBC/JPA, concurrency/profiling)
• .NET/IIS/C# (Web API, data access, security)
• Legacy maintenance: C++ and Delphi for existing modules.
• Front‑end & scripting: PHP, JavaScript for UI; Shell/Perl/PowerShell for automation.
• Data stack: Kafka (topics, consumer groups), Informatica (ETL), MariaDB/Oracle (PL/SQL), Cassandra (data modeling, performance).
• SQL and data modeling (relational + distributed/time‑series), indexing, query tuning.
• Integration patterns: REST/SOAP, file‑based exchange, schema evolution, idempotency, retries/back‑off

Good to have:

• Experience with IS Tools (inventory/provisioning) or similar OSS inventory platforms.
• Observability stack (Elastic/Kibana, Grafana/Prometheus, APM) for dashboards and tracing.
• Exposure to TM Forum frameworks (SID/eTOM/ODA) and service catalogue concepts.
• Secure design practices (RBAC, TLS, secrets management) across Windows/Linux.
• CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps) for multi‑stack packaging and deployments.
