Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Extensive hands-on experience in Java SE/EE development.
• Proven experience as a Java Architect or in a similar senior technical leadership role.
• Expertise with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and service-oriented design principles.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, high-performing, and efficient application architectures.
• Proficiency with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL technologies (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Practical experience with any of the cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an innovative and solution-driven mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Good to-Have:

• Experience with API gateways and securing APIs using OAuth or JWT.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies to support full-stack architectural understanding.
• Advanced certifications in Java, architecture frameworks, or cloud platforms.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:

• Define and implement architectural frameworks for Java-based applications with a strong focus on scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and engineering teams to gather requirements and convert them into technical designs.
• Lead system and application design sessions, producing detailed technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
• Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle to ensure adherence to standards, best practices, and architectural principles.
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices or enterprise solutions using Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on tools, frameworks, and modern development methodologies.
• Troubleshoot complex architectural and system issues, delivering resilient and effective solutions.
• Conduct technical reviews, including code and design reviews, to ensure high-quality and maintainable software.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and frameworks to recommend innovative improvements.
• Mentor junior developers and support team members in developing their technical skills.
