Middle Strong/Senior Angular (Ionic) developer

We are looking for a Middle Strong / Senior Angular (Ionic) Developer with 4+ years of experience to build a mobile product and continuously improve a large-scale production application.

This is a full-time position, with the option to work remotely or on-site in Lviv or Kyiv.

Project

Customer: Product startup based in California, USA.

Domain: Healthcare / Productivity mobile application

Project: The app helps parents track their child’s daily activities such as sleep, feeding, and potty usage. Over time, the product has grown into a smart parenting assistant, offering age-relevant insights and educational content, as well as an AI-powered chatbot for activity tracking and personalized parenting advice.

We combine Data, AI, and Behavioral Science to build products that help over 5 million families.

Our app has 4.9 stars, earning rave reviews from parents who call it “life-changing” and their “#1 recommendation.”

We’re rapidly growing and investing deeply in our mobile platform to support the next generation of experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Work collaboratively in a distributed team on an ongoing mobile product
Own frontend architecture, patterns, and best practices for a large-scale Ionic app
Implement high-quality, accessible, and responsive UI that feels native on both iOS and Android
Integrate with backend APIs, real-time services, analytics, and event-tracking systems
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to deliver user-centered experiences
Write clean, testable, and maintainable TypeScript code
Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
Contribute to shared UI components, internal libraries, and frontend tooling
Help improve engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile release processes

Job Requirements

Must Have

4+ years of production experience with Angular and Ionic
Solid knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript
Experience consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs
Deep understanding of modern frontend concepts: state management, component architecture, performance optimization, accessibility
Strong product mindset with attention to UX details and edge cases
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English

Will Be a Plus

Experience working with AI / LLM-powered features
Hands-on experience with Capacitor and hybrid mobile apps for iOS and Android
Experience with Firebase Real-Time applications and Node.js
Familiarity with mobile app lifecycle, app store releases, and debugging on real devices
