We’re now looking for an experienced, influential and highly capable National Manager, PMO to design, establish and lead a modern, disciplined Project Management Office that drives delivery excellence, improves governance, and strengthens how we execute change across the organisation.
Reporting directly to the General Manager IT, Chief Risk Officer and global Project Managers, this is a rare opportunity to create something meaningful. About The Role

- Establish and lead a fit-for-purpose PMO, including governance frameworks, project controls, reporting, delivery standards and prioritisation.
- Provide enterprise-wide visibility of the project portfolio, ensuring risks, progress and decisions are clearly communicated to Executive leaders and steering committees.
- Lead and develop a small team, uplifting capability, consistency and accountability in project delivery.
- Work across multiple concurrent projects, partnering with IT Shared Services and business leaders to align priorities, resourcing and delivery outcomes.
- Own project financials, creating and tracking budgets, managing vendor contracts, processing payments, and monitoring vendor performance against agreed deliverables.
- Shape and maintain the Business Systems Roadmap, supporting strategic planning and future capability uplift.
- Drive transformation and change, embedding disciplined project practices and influencing stakeholders with clarity, confidence and strong judgement.
You’re a confident leader, a builder of structure, and someone who thrives in environments where you can establish clarity and lift project maturity. You bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Project Management or Information Systems (Agile/Scrum certifications highly regarded).
- Experience leading a PMO or project delivery function, ideally in a regulated environment.
- Strong capability in PMO governance, frameworks, reporting and delivery discipline.
- Proven financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and vendor performance oversight.
- Success delivering multiple complex projects and navigating competing business and technology priorities.
- Leadership experience, developing and guiding project team members.
- Transformation experience, embedding new ways of working and lifting capability.
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills, including presenting to Executives and steering committees.
- Commercial acumen and sound judgement, able to balance urgency, risk and long-term value.
- A pragmatic, structured and forward-looking mindset, confident to challenge respectfully and influence outcomes.
