We’re looking for a seasoned consultant to join our client’s team, leveraging your extensive network engineering expertise to address critical infrastructure challenges. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of network systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing advanced networking technologies to optimize system performance
- Implementing and managing security protocols, including Zero Trust frameworks
- Working with tools such as Docker, ELK Stack (Elastic Log/Kibana), and SIEM systems to ensure operational efficiency
- Operating and troubleshooting hardware and software in Linux and Microsoft Windows environments
- Supporting coaching and Agile practices within the team to drive continuous improvement
- 10+ years of proven experience as a Network Engineer
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, switching, and VPN technologies
- Fluent in Dutch or French, with strong proficiency in the other national language and English
- Belgian nationality with willingness to obtain a “top secret” security clearance if not already held
- Ability to work on-site; remote work is not available
