Network Automation Engineer

My client has a unique proposition in the postal and transportation domain. Extremely mission critical! So unique that they are delivering it to over 20 different countries at 250+ sites. They are building robotics and the software that runs on it. Everything custom build - inhouse. With over 200 FTE and 20+ years of experience a very solid company doing very well for itself. Actually, on the international forefront within their domain.

For their core Infra team of 10FTE we are looking for a Network Automation Engineer/Architect. In this broad role you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a variety of (local & public) Networking environments.

The Network Automation Engineer:

• Grew up / is well versed in the more traditional Routing, Switching and Firewalling;
• Has a solid track record in automating Networking environments;
• The skills to gather requirements and bring these together from both a design and operational perspective - be client facing;
• Experience with local or public clouds in terms of connectivity is an absolute plus!

2 days (or more ofc) at office location Delft.

Salary: maximum starting salary is 100K yearly.

The Infrastructure team is growing - in all disciplines - more Security, more Automation (both technically as process wise) and more and more diversity in terms of the many international clients that they are servicing from a technology perspective. As such we are explicitly looking for Engineers/Architects that love, Networking and Automating it ofc, but preferably also are intrinsically motivated to analyze, explore, discover and improve the connection with the bigger Infrastructure picture.
