About the Role:

A renowned Tier-1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead a major, high-specification Life Sciences project in Limerick. This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to manage a complex and prestigious build from conception to completion.

The position is seen as a long-term career move, with the successful candidate ideally staying with the company for future projects in the region. We welcome applications from both permanent employees and experienced professionals operating through a Limited Company.

The Project:

You will be at the forefront of delivering a state-of-the-art Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences facility. This project represents a significant investment and requires the highest standards of quality, safety, and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full project lifecycle management, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, budgets, and risk registers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, design team, and all stakeholders.
• Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and health & safety legislation, particularly relevant to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environments.
• Implement robust commercial management and reporting procedures.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A proven track record as a Project Manager with a Tier-1 or leading Main Contractor.
• Experience delivering complex, high-value technical projects.
• A background in one of the following sectors is highly desirable:
• Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical (highly preferred)
• Data Centre
• Advanced Technology / Industrial
• Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A commitment to the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management.
