Senior Compliance Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Compliance Manager to join their Luxembourg team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic, regulated environment. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction, while shaping the direction of the business alongside senior leadership.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee investor transactions to detect and address suspicious activity, ensuring full compliance with AML/CFT regulations.
- Investigate alerts, document findings, and liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Maintain detailed records and support audits or regulatory requests.
- Develop and update internal compliance policies and conduct periodic reviews.
- Monitor business activities for regulatory adherence and report potential risks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team to deliver high standards of performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and service expansion.
- Build strong client relationships and manage complex or sensitive queries effectively.
Your Profile
- University degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in corporate services, financial operations, or compliance.
- Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, OEC and CSSF requirements, MiFID, and GDPR.
- Experience with systems such as Regmate, RiskScreen, and Admin Consult.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ILA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and French required; additional languages are an asset.
