Role: Network Operations Analyst

As a Network Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining Cantor Fitzgerald’s highly available global financial network. This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will provide first-to-third line technical support, contribute to infrastructure design and implementation projects, and ensure operational excellence across multiple platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day network support and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis for outages and recommend resolutions.
  • Deliver projects and tasks including new installations, platform refresh/redesign (Data Center & Enterprise).
  • Turn up services for third parties (CDN, Extranet, VPN).
  • Maintain infrastructure hygiene (code upgrades, hardware replacement).
  • Implement and operate Palo Alto firewalls and F5 load balancers.
  • Drive continuous service improvement and network automation.
  • Document infrastructure procedures and update design documentation.
  • Manage enterprise monitoring solutions and review new tools.
  • Implement BAU changes following change management processes.
  • Attend data centers and remote sites for maintenance and audits.
  • Participate in shift patterns and on-call support (including weekends).



Ideal Candidate Profile


Skills:

  • Junos OS and Cisco IOS fundamentals (configuration, monitoring, maintenance).
  • Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), route manipulation, redistribution & filtering.Wi-Fi networking principles (design, installation, troubleshooting), preferably Extreme Networks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a busy team environment.


Qualifications:

  • Cisco CCNP Routing & Switching.
  • JNCIA-Junos certifications.
  • Wireless foundational certifications.


Experience:

  • 5+ years as a senior network engineer in a high-volume, high-availability financial trading environment.
  • Experience delivering and supporting wireless networks.
  • Exposure to multi-team and multi-vendor infrastructure environments.



Compensation

Annual salary range: 120,000 PLN – 240,000 PLN a year, depending on experience and qualifications.
