Morgan McKinley is hiring for a Software Engineer (Partner Engineer) for a 12-month contract for our client, a leading Multinational Technology company.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product engineering, partnerships, and cross‑functional teams to design new features and enhance existing ones.
  • Apply knowledge of products, technologies, and business models to deliver solutions that scale effectively.
  • Architect and implement end‑to‑end systems while supporting go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with partners, using both technical and interpersonal skills to address complex challenges.
  • Deliver high‑quality integrations and partner engagements, while shaping product direction to align with business needs.
  • Drive workflow improvements, secure stakeholder alignment, and guide teams toward practical solutions.
  • Maintain clear communication channels with industry partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Support partners in developing long‑term strategies tied to business objectives and oversee integrations to ensure mutual value creation.
  • Mentor peers, foster collaboration, and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and act promptly on feedback received.
  • Present data‑driven insights to influence decision‑making.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within Partner Engineering, offering guidance on domain‑specific projects.
  • Participate in interviewing and onboarding new team members.
  • Willingness to travel as required by team or function.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • With Strong 5+ years of relevant experience in client‑facing or partner‑facing roles, with strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in open‑source languages such as PHP, Python, Java, or JavaScript frameworks.
  • Strong background in software design and architecture.
  • Experience working with large‑scale data capture and analytics to guide decisions and measure impact.
  • Genuine interest in the video games industry.
  • Exposure to emerging technologies and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Contributions to open‑source projects or shared code repositories.
  • Experience working in collaborative, multi‑disciplinary environments.
  • Familiarity with developer and platform documentation.
  • Background in managing multi‑person codebases, whether open source or personal projects.
