The selected intern will be part of the Cloud Platform Engineering team and participate but not limited to the following:
- Build high-performance backend APIs using FastAPI for cloud infrastructure automation
- Develop asynchronous task processing systems using Celery for handling long-running operations
- Create and maintain data models, validation logic, and service orchestration for cloud workflows
- Integrate Python backend services with Angular frontend applications through RESTful APIs
- Implement automated job scheduling and monitoring for infrastructure deployment tasks
- Focus on improving system reliability, scalability, and performance optimisation
- Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end automation features
- Be pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or related discipline
- Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027
- Students with solid Python programming experience and understanding of web development
- Familiarity with API development and RESTful services (FastAPI experience preferred)
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and task queues (Celery knowledge beneficial)
- Basic knowledge of databases and data modelling concepts
- Interest in learning about system architecture, scalability, and automation
- Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development practices
- Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
