About SDAX
SDAX is a next-generation capital markets platform headquartered in Singapore, offering global investors access to unique investment opportunities across alternative and digital asset classes. Licensed and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, we combine the trust of traditional finance with the power of modern and cutting-edge technology to reshape how capital is raised, invested, and grown.
The Role
We are looking for a HR Business Partner / HR Generalist who combines operational excellence with a strategic mindset to manage the full employee lifecycle. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to both leadership and employees, ensuring that our HR practices align with SDAX’s business goals and regulatory requirements.
You will shape the employee experience at SDAX, from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management and culture-building initiatives. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to foster a high-performance environment that is both compliant and inclusive.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving fintech environment, balances procedural rigor with empathy, and is passionate about building a future-forward workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to department heads to understand their talent needs and provide guidance on organizational design, succession planning, and employee relations.
- Manage end-to-end HR functions including payroll administration, benefits management, and the maintenance of employee records in compliance with MOM regulations.
- Lead the recruitment process, from job profiling and sourcing to interviewing and offer management, ensuring we attract top-tier talent in the fintech and finance space.
- Drive the annual appraisal cycle, providing coaching to managers on feedback delivery and managing performance improvement plans (PIPs) where necessary.
- Develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, promote SDAX’s core values, and foster a collaborative company culture.
- Review and update HR policies and employee handbooks to ensure alignment with Singapore’s evolving labor laws and MAS guidelines.
- Manage the HR budget, track key people metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management to inform people-related decisions.
- Participate in market surveys from government agencies ie MOM, IRAS, CPF, WSG and various HR related surveys.
- Assist Compliance team in coordinating training programs between staff and training providers.
- Manage employee relations, including grievance resolution and disciplinary actions, ensuring equitable outcomes and compliance with statutory requirements.
Who You Are
You are a proactive and adaptable HR professional with a deep understanding of the unique talent landscape in Singapore’s finance and tech sectors. You enjoy the challenge of building scalable HR processes from the ground up and thrive in a dynamic environment where you can wear multiple hats. You are a "people person" who is comfortable resolving a sensitive employee issue or presenting a people strategy to the board.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably as a Generalist or HRBP within financial services, fintech, or a high-growth technology firm.
- Excellent knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources including HR operations, performance management, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition and management, training and employee relations.
- Proven track record as a business partner to senior stakeholders; facilitating business strategy and capability building.
- Strong familiarization with the Singapore Employment Act; experience with HRIS and payroll software is a plus.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
- Independent, proactive, resourceful, meticulous, adaptable, and prepared to take a hands-on approach with a strong drive to build, improve, and grow alongside the company.
- Immediate availability or short notice will be an added advantage.
