About The Opportunity

A role within the Public K–12 Education sector supporting district-wide digital experiences and learning platforms. This remote position contributes to designing accessible, student-centered web and mobile interfaces that improve educator workflows, family engagement, and learner outcomes across a school district environment in the United States.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead UX design for web and mobile products: craft user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes that serve students, teachers, and administrators.
  • Conduct and synthesize user research and usability testing with educators, students, and families to validate designs and inform roadmap decisions.
  • Translate requirements into accessible interfaces that meet WCAG standards and support inclusive learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and content teams to iterate on design solutions and ensure implementation fidelity.
  • Develop and maintain design system components, patterns, and documentation to increase consistency and development velocity.
  • Measure design impact using qualitative feedback and analytics; refine interactions to improve key user metrics (task success, time-on-task, engagement).

Additional Qualifications

  • Must be based in the United States and able to work remotely in alignment with district hours and cross-functional meeting schedules.
