Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Duqm, Oman. As a Refrigeration Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing, designing, and maintaining refrigeration systems and machinery in alignment with operational needs. The role includes performing diagnostic and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring optimal equipment functionality for the efficient operation of seafood storage and processing facilities. Coordination with teams and participation in improving energy efficiency and sustainable practices form an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

• A strong foundation in refrigeration systems, HVAC design, and related mechanical engineering principles
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on refrigeration and cooling equipment
• Experience with sustainability practices and energy-efficient system integration
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required
• Experience in the seafood or cold storage industry is an added advantage
• Proficiency in using design and analysis software for high-performing mechanical systems
• Ability to work on-site in Duqm, Oman, and adapt to a dynamic, operational work environment
